BUILDING - NON-RESIDENTIAL (ACCESSORY) Application

(New construction, renovations, addition, decommission, or demolition of a non-residential/accessory building or structure)


Prior to submitting your BUILDING PERMIT application, please be prepared for the following:

  • Ensure that you have provided zoning details/calculations, as per the District's Zoning Bylaw.
  • Please be prepared to upload all necessary documents, such as a recent title search (within 30 days), the owner's authorizing agent form (if applicant is not the owner), permit plans, engineer's documents if applicable, etc. (see residential checklist for similar required details, depending on scope of work)
  • Construction value is necessary to determine the non-refundable application (plan processing) fee, which is part of the total building permit fee and is required to be paid online (via credit card).

  • Click Continue below to access or create your CSOnline account and complete your permit application. Within your CSOnline account you will have the ability to upload additional documents and to pay any outstanding fees.
  • Please note that as per the District's Land Use Bylaw, kitchen/cooking and bathing facilities are not permitted in accessory type buildings.
